About Me
Hi, I'm Kate.
I'm a pharmaceutical professional, founder and parent of a neurodivergent child.
Like many parents, I spent years carrying hundreds of thoughts, worries, observations and reminders in my head. School conversations. Work responsibilities. Family life. The things I didn't want to forget. The things I wasn't quite ready to explain.
I created Too Many Tabs because I needed somewhere for those thoughts to live outside my own head.
As my family's journey evolved, I also created SENTracker, a tool to help parents organise evidence, documents and timelines when observations need to become a story that can be shared with schools and professionals.
This blog is where I share honest reflections on invisible mental load, working parent life, neurodiversity, SEND journeys and the reality of trying to hold everything together when life feels overwhelming.
If you're wondering just how much you're carrying right now, you can take my free Cognitive Capacity Audit, a quick self-assessment designed to help parents identify where their mental bandwidth is being consumed and what support might help.
You'll also find a collection of free worksheets, guides and practical resources designed to help you reduce overwhelm, organise your thoughts and feel a little less alone.
No perfect parenting.
No productivity myths.
Just practical insights, real stories and the lessons I've learned along the way.
Because sometimes the problem isn't that you're failing to cope. It's that you're carrying too much.
If you're juggling work, family life, school responsibilities and a hundred open mental tabs, you're not alone.
